Metal Injection Moulding service

The unique combination of injection molding and sintering technologies, allowing us to create high-density components with exceptionally tight geometric tolerances.

With MIM, we can achieve exceptional precision and consistency, allowing us to meet the diverse needs of our clients across different industries.

Our extensive experience of over 30 years producing MIM pieces enables us to deliver precise and reliable parts that meet the most demanding specifications.

Experience

Ecrimesa Group was the first company worldwide to develop the process of manufacturing in a continuous furnace with catalytic debinding, in collaboration with BASF and Cremer Thermoprozessanlagen GmbH.

Nowadays, with four continuous lines for debinding and sintering and two vacuum batch lines for sintering, we have a processing capacity of more than 250 tons of feedstock per year and we can produce more than 1.2 million pieces every month.

MimecriUSA is now extending our expertise to the United States, backed by a group with proven track record of over 2,300 references and serving more than 200 customers.

Located in Thomasville, Georgia, our factory boasts a strategic advantage that enables us to provide exceptional customer service.

Location

Situated in a prime location, we have convenient access to major transportation networks, including key highways, railways, and airports. This proximity facilitates seamless logistics and timely deliveries, ensuring efficient service to our clients.

Moreover, Thomasville offers a skilled and dedicated workforce, providing us with a talented pool of professionals who are committed to delivering excellence. Our proximity to local educational institutions and training centers allows us to tap into a continuous supply of skilled labor, ensuring that our team remains highly competent and adaptable to evolving customer needs.

Metal Injection Molding in Georgia

Technical Office

At our design office in Europe, we provide comprehensive services throughout all stages of production. Our engineers offer expert technical advice to our clients, assisting them in adapting their designs to optimize the Metal Injection Molding (MIM) process.

To facilitate fast prototyping, we have printers capable of producing wax models without the need for a mold. This flexibility proves invaluable during the early stages when multiple design iterations are required before finalizing the production tooling.

By eliminating the requirement for molds in the initial phases or low-volume projects, this solution overcomes the limitations associated with investing in costly tooling. It empowers our clients to explore design variations without being hindered by significant upfront expenses, ultimately accelerating the development cycle.

Molding workshop

Every year, we strive to develop more than 100 unique molds while offering comprehensive guidance on adapting designs to MIM technology.

To achieve this, we rely on our in-house mold design capabilities powered by industry-leading software like Pro/ENGINEER and hyperMILL® for efficient machine programming. Additionally, we enhance our designers' and metallurgical officers' expertise with the aid of advanced simulation software such as Magma Soft and Inspire Cast, ensuring optimal results throughout the process.

In our cutting-edge workshop at our parent company, we house a range of modern equipment that includes erosion machines for both penetration and wire techniques. Furthermore, we boast high-speed machining equipment with 5 axes, among other state-of-the-art tools, to meet the most demanding requirements of our clients.

Metallurgic & metrology laboratory

MimecriUSA is backed with a complete metallurgical laboratory with highly skilled technicians who oversee various critical processes. In addition to managing the continuous controls of the melting process and heat treatments, they conduct X-Ray controls, digital tomography, fraction controls (hot and cold), digital image analysis, microstructure examination, corrosion controls, and non-destructive testing (NDT).

With our comprehensive metallurgical laboratory and highly skilled technicians, we are committed to delivering products of the utmost quality, backed by rigorous testing, analysis, and quality assurance measures. Our dedication to excellence sets us apart as a trusted partner in meeting your technical and commercial requirements.

Final operations

We provide comprehensive heat treatment and machining services as the final steps in our metal production process, ensuring uniform finishes and maximum quality in all our components.

For our final operations we utilize state-of-the-art machinery and techniques to achieve improved hardness, strength, and durability, resulting in consistent and reliable performance, precise shaping, dimensional accuracy, smooth surfaces, and the highest standards of quality in every part.
